The family of afroestadounidense George Floyd, whose murder at the hands of a white police motivated a wave of protests across the United States, announced this Wednesday, July 15, 2020, that he sued the city of minneapolis, where death occurred.
The family lawyer, Benjamin Crumpsaid the relatives of Floyd filed a wrongful death lawsuit in Federal District Court in Minneapolis.

The four officers involved in the case have yet to be prosecuted for murder and charges related to the floyd’s death.
