American actor George Clooney (59) became famous for his roles as roughnecks, but in reality he is a romantic. In a new TV interview, he talked about his love for the prominent lawyer Amal Clooney (42) and also broke out that his children’s first ultrasound almost made him cry.

Amal is said to have completely changed George’s life. Just a year after the first meeting, he therefore asked for her hand. But she took a nice time with the answer. “I knelt on one knee for about 20 minutes, until I was afraid I’d kick my hip,” George laughs. But Amal eventually accepted and in 2014 they married. Three years later, Amal became pregnant with twins Ella and Alexander (3). “The ultrasound took my breath away, there were two,” admits George. He said he couldn’t even talk by the touch.
