The transfer has a double motivation: the hospital of Padova is equipped with all the clinical specialties necessary to make the best of Zanardi and is closer to the family home. Hospitalized at San Raffaele since July 24th, in conditions of severe neurological and systemic instability, Zanardi first underwent a period of intensive resuscitation, then a surgical course. «In the last two months, he has also been able to undertake a course of physical and cognitive rehabilitation», San Raffaele informs us that ad Alex and his family«wishes for a future of progressive clinical improvement».
