Goran Djuricin is no longer the Grasshoppers coach. The Austrian took over from the dismissed Zurich Uli Forte at the Challenge League club only in mid-February.
According to their communiqué, the Zurich residents have decided not to extend the contract with the Austrian Djuricin, which expires at the end of May. The 45-year-old leaves GC immediately. Assistant coach Zoltan Kadar will head the first team.

Goran Djuricin followed Uli Forte at GC in early February. The Hoppers lost the first game under Djuricin at home to Kriens 0-1, the second they won 3-0 in Schaffhausen. Thereafter, the championship operation was interrupted due to the coronavirus pandemic.
With a two-year hiatus, the 54-year-old Kadar has worked in various functions for GC since 2011. The Romanian is assisted by the previous assistant coach Stephan Helm.
