GB Ghabbour Auto Announces Price Increase on Chery Cars in Egypt, Including Arrizo 5, Tiggo 3, and Tiggo 7 Models

The “GB Ghabbour Auto” group of companies, the local agent for “Chery” cars in Egypt, its authorized distributors, announced today an increase in the prices of 3 Chery models, namely “Arrizo 5, Tiggo 3, and Tiggo 7”, with a value ranging between 25 and 35 thousand. pounds for some categories.

The prices of Chery Arrizo 5, with the three categories, rose to 440,000 pounds, and 485,000 for the second category, while the third category recorded 510,000 pounds. It is equipped with a four-cylinder engine, with a capacity of 1500 cc, producing 114 “horsepower” and a maximum torque of 141. Nm, connected to a five-speed transmission.

While the prices of Chery Tiggo 3 cars increased by 30 thousand pounds, during this June, to reach 590 thousand pounds instead of 560, and the car is equipped with a four-cylinder engine, with a capacity of 1600 cc, producing 126 “horsepower”, with a maximum torque of 160. And the prices of “Tiggo 7” cars jumped by a value of 35 thousand pounds for the various categories offered in the local market, on the first days of June, as it recorded a price of 735 thousand for the first category, and it is equipped with a four-cylinder engine, with a capacity of 1500 cc turbo, with a power of 145 “horses” with Maximum torque of 210 Nm, connected to a six-speed “automatic” transmission.

In a related context, Al-Mansour Automotive Company, the local agent for “Opel”, notified its network of authorized distributors, today, of an increase in the prices of its cars offered in the local market, namely “Corsa, Crossland, and Mokka”. The company, between 80 to 130 thousand pounds for some categories.

It is worth noting that all cars in Egypt continue to rise in insanely high prices, as the increase occurs on a monthly basis, due to the high price of the dollar against the pound, in addition to the non-importation of different categories, which makes it difficult to buy and sell.
