Gazprom in trouble. Sales of gas are getting worse and worse

Daily gas supplies from Russia to key Western markets are the lowest in three months – according to information from Bloomberg.

The agency says that Gazprom’s customers from Europe can afford the smaller amounts allowed in the contracts. By contrast, gas supplies are replenished from “more attractive sources,” as Bloomberg calls it. The market is flooded, for example, by a “wave of LPG” – we read.

There is another reason for the lower demand for gas than Gazprom. It’s good, mild weather and customers simply use less raw material for heating purposes, Bloomberg analyzes.

Gazprom does not provide detailed information on gas supplies to key markets, i.e. Europe and Turkey. However, taking into account the deliveries via main pipelines from April 1 to April 26, they were on average lower by approx. 18 percent. compared to the average daily flows in March this year.
