The area of the Gulf of Mexico is usually hit by hurricanes annually. On this occasion, it was Hurricane Ida’s turn and lThe New Orleans Saints have already set to work to rebuild the affected areas.
Through a statement issued by the team, it was announced that Gayle Benson, owner of the Saints, made a $ 1 million donation through the Gulf Coast Renewal Fund to help the Louisiana community.

No damage to the Superdome
The statement also mentions that the Ceasars Superdome sustained minor damage and NFL regular season games can be held as soon as city infrastructure allows. For now, the team is training at Arlington Stadium, in Dallas, Texas.
The Saints did not play in New Orleans in 2005 when Hurricane Katrina hit Louisiana.
