Gasoline and diesel fuel prices in Latvia continue to decrease – Industries – Financenet – TVNET

The EC gathers member states’ data on average fuel prices every week.

The EC information published this week about the previous week shows that in Latvia, a liter of 95-grade gasoline cost an average of 1.855 euros per liter in the week from August 2 to 8, a week earlier the average price of 95-grade gasoline was 1.878 euros per liter, but a week ago – 1.902 euros per liter.

On the other hand, the average price of diesel last week was 1.823 euros per liter. A week earlier, the average price of diesel fuel was 1.86 euros per liter, and a week before – 1.897 euros per liter.

The highest average price of brand 95 gasoline in Europe last week was in Finland – 2.16 euros per liter, while the lowest price was in Hungary – 1.31 euros per liter. On the other hand, the highest average price of diesel last week was in Sweden, where it reached 2.23 euros per liter, and the lowest in Malta – 1.21 euros per liter.

The record for the average price of brand 95 gasoline in Latvia will be reached in the week from June 14 to 20, when the average price of brand 95 gasoline was 2.104 euros per liter, while the record for the average price of diesel fuel was reached in the week from 21 to 27 June – 2.108 euros per liter.
