President of the European Parliament Roberta Mezola called on European countries to impose an embargo on Russian energy resources.
She wrote about it in Twitter.
“The European Union will not be blackmailed. We are not afraid of Putin. Poland and Bulgaria and other countries will find our support. The European Parliament calls for an immediate pan-European embargo on energy supplies controlled by the Kremlin. It’s time to break our dependence once and for all,” Metsola said.
