The residents of Cyriel Buyssestraat in Lokeren have barely recovered from the gas explosion that left eight young people with life-threatening wounds on Friday evening. “We put them in the shower, gave them blankets and encouraged them. It was a gruesome scene,” say the witnesses, who are still very impressed.
