They threatened those present with a knife and firearm and were able to steal money, wallets, cell phones, an electric scooter and a car. One person present was slightly injured in the robbery. – Around half past one Thursday afternoon, four gangsters raided the warehouse where the company is located. They wore face masks and were armed with a knife and a firearm. Those present were threatened and had to hand over their mobile phones and wallets. They were also able to steal the company’s money and ran off with an electric scooter. During the robbery, there was another skirmish with one of those present. The victim received a few taps with the handle of a knife and was slightly injured. The man did not have to go to the hospital. The four crooks were eventually able to get off with a car that was on the company site. It was an Opel Insigna. The local police Rupel arrived en masse and started a search for the gangsters. The stolen Opel was signaled and that was successful quite quickly. In the course of the afternoon the car was found in Antwerp. At that time there was no trace of the robbers. The judicial lab came on site for a trace investigation in the shed. The police department of the local police Rupel has started a thorough investigation, but for the time being the gangsters have disappeared. It is also being investigated how the four went to Rumst, as they managed to escape with a car from the company.
