Galicia adds 39 municipalities in red

The municipalities of Ribeira and La Estrada, located in the provinces of La Coruña and Pontevedra, respectively, have passed a level 3 alert due to the evolution of the incidence of covid-19.

This is reflected in the data of the health authorities reflected in the map of the incidence of the pandemic this Thursday, in which the total of municipalities that are at this level (colored in red) fell to 39.

In the province of Lugo, a total of four municipalities remain on red alert: Vilalba, Lugo, Monforte and Chantada. Viveiro, for his part, leaves this group and goes to an orange alert, level two. Likewise, Orense remains the same, with Xinzo de Limia and Ribadavia at the red level.

The province of Pontevedra, meanwhile, adds La Estrada in alert level 3, which also includes Lalín, Vilagarcía de Arousa, Ribadumia, Pontevedra, Poio, Sanxenxo, O Grove, Marín, Soutomaior, Redondela, Vigo, Nigrán, Mos, Ponteareas, Porriño, Tui and A Guarda.

The municipalities of Salvaterra and Salceda, for their part, have managed to leave the group on maximum alert and are next to the localities at the orange level.

Ribeira joins the red-level municipalities of the province of La Coruña, which also include Teo, Vimianzo, Cabana de Bergantiños, Ponteceso, Malpica, Coristanco, Carballo, Arteixo, A Coruña, Culleredo, Cambre, Oleiros, Narón and Ferrol.

For their part, the municipalities of Ames, Cee and Fene have come out of the maximum alert and have gone to orange level.

LEVEL TWO

A total of 26 municipalities are also at level two alert for coronavirus.

Specifically, Sarria, Cervo and Viveiro in the province of Lugo; and Barbadás, Ourense, A Rúa and Verín in the province of Ourense.

Also, Tomiño, Salceda, A Cañiza, Moaña, Cangas, Cambados, Caldas de Reis register orange alert in the province of Pontevedra and Noia, Santiago, Ames, Cee, Santa Comba, Laxe, Camariñas, Ponteceso, Ordes, Bergondo, Sada, and Fene in the province of A Coruña.
