Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4 will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus

Selular.ID – The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4 are rumored to be arriving powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus chipset under the hood. This leak was revealed by tipster Ice Universe through his Twitter page

Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus is expected to bring Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 10% faster than 8 Gen 1 and more power efficient. Previous reports have revealed that the Z Fold 4 will be fueled by the same 4,400mAh battery as its predecessor.

However, the Z Flip 4 is said to have a bigger battery than the Flip 3. The overall battery capacity of the Galaxy Z Flip 4 is likely to be 3,303mAh. Better battery life is expected from both phones as they tend to be equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus Soc.

When it comes to specs, the Z Flip 4 is expected to have a larger 2-inch cover screen, while the Fold 4 is rumored to have upgraded the camera sensor. A recent leak also revealed that the smartphone will arrive in a new color.

Unfortunately, leaks regarding the price of this folding cellphone duo have not been detected. However, it is expected that Samsung will launch this phone at an affordable price this year. The previous year, the Z Fold 3 was priced at $1,799, and the Z Flip 3 came with a price tag of $999.
