Samsung Electronics announced on the 26th that it will extend the activation period for customers who pre-ordered the Galaxy S24 series through mobile carriers from January 31 to February 8.
Those who reserve self-sufficient products can receive the Galaxy S24 series regardless of activation or not, and can apply for pre-order benefits through the website until the 29th of next month.
Samsung Electronics announced on its website that day, “The pre-order quantity for the Galaxy S24 series has exceeded the prepared quantity,” and “For customers who have difficulty activating the model they want, we are extending the pre-order activation period for all S24 models.”
The Galaxy S24 series achieved record-breaking box office success. Previously, domestic pre-orders for the Galaxy S24 series, which were held from the 19th to the 25th of this month, reached approximately 1.21 million units. This is a new record, surpassing the 1.09 million units sold for the Galaxy S23 series last year.
The Galaxy S24 series will be officially released on the 31st. The selling price starts at 1,155,000 won for the basic model, 1,353,000 won for the plus model, and 1,698,400 won for the ultra model.
