Galaxy S22 reveals its equipment. What kind of cameras will it have and how fast will it charge?

It has only been a few weeks since the introduction of the new flexible Samsungs, and there is already speculation about the spring flagships from the Galaxy S22 series. We will probably see three models again – S22, S22 + and S22 Ultra, while at least the first two named should share a large part of the equipment. The first details about these models usually come from a well-informed source Ice Universe.

Samsung Galaxy S22: better cameras and faster charging

For example, previous speculation that Samsung will increase the resolution of the main camera is confirmed. To be used recently introduced ISOCELL GN5 photochip with a resolution of 50 megapixels, which is to attract attention with Dual Pixel FDTI technology providing lightning-fast focusing.

Ice Universe also revealed what it will be like with the front camera. We don’t know the technical details, but we already know that Samsung will not use a sub-display solution like the Galaxy Z Fold 3, so we will probably see a classic shot at the top of the display. This is logical, while with a flexible smartphone, the internal camera is used primarily for video calls, as self-portraits can be taken with both the front and main cameras; with a classic phone, you require maximum reliability and quality with a single selfie camera.

We also have the first information about the Exynos 2200 chipset, which will drive the upcoming innovations (at least in some markets). Samsung reportedly consists of a processor unit consisting of a super-powerful Cortex-X2 core with a clock speed of 2.9 GHz, three powerful cores with a clock speed of 2.8 GHz and finally four quadruple cores with a clock speed of 2.2 GHz. The graphics performance will then be taken care of by a chip from AMD with a clock speed of 1250 Mhz. These beats are to apply to the Galaxy S22 Ultra, to be slightly reduced for the basic S22 and S22 + models.

New information also comes about charging; The Galaxy S22 Ultra is designed to support fast charging with an output of up to 45 watts.

We don’t know yet what its smaller siblings can do, but one thing is practically certain – you will have to get the charger yourself, you can’t count on it in the package.
