According to reports, manufacturer Samsung will postpone the rumored Lite model of the Galaxy Fold until the coming year. The model is said to be an inexpensive entry into foldables due to the absence of 5G and reduced camera technology.
Foldable smartphones are no longer an absolute novelty, but the technology is still in a very young phase of development. This also results in the still very high prices for the so-called foldables. Samsung is currently calling for the Galaxy Z Flip 1479 Euro on, the Galaxy Fold from 2019 costs about at Saturn still around 2099 euros. In order to keep costs down, the Galaxy Fold Lite should only be equipped with two cameras and should also do without 5G.
