Gabon: KECC explains its investment ambitions to the Prime Minister – AGP

Libreville, January 2, 2024 (AGP) – The Prime Minister of the Transition, Raymond Ndong Sima, received, this Tuesday, January 2 in Libreville, in a working session, the regional director of KECC for West Africa, Alberto Jung, who came to present to the head of government the possibilities of collaboration between his group and Gabon, reports a press release from the Prime Minister’s office received by the AGP.

“KECC has been providing professional engineering services for nearly sixty years and has a mission to provide innovative and cost-effective solutions to meet specific needs,” he said. Citing among others, the construction of roads, highways, railways, airports, bridges, energy and wastewater treatment.

Specializing in the provision of infrastructure and hydrocarbon services, the company Korea Engineering Consultants Corp (KECC) aims to support Gabon in the construction of roads, highways, oil, gas and hydroelectric exploitation.

The Korean group Korea Engineering Consultants Corp is the first to clearly display its ambitions to invest in Gabon, at the start of 2024. All of which demonstrates that the advent of the Committee for the Transition and Restoration of Institutions (CTRI) has not not slowed down the ambitions of the numerous investors to set foot on Gabonese territory. Indeed, a land of opportunities, Gabon offers these various partners the possibilities of investing in areas as varied as infrastructure, hydrocarbons, wastewater treatment, solar and thermal energy, etc. .

Engaged in a dynamic of restructuring and development as evidenced by the speech to the nation on December 31 by the President of the Transition, Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema in its development aspect, Gabon could benefit from the multifaceted experience of this Korean subsidiary.

The Prime Minister, who remained very attentive to Mr. Alberto Jung’s explanations, expressed his government’s desire to increase development partnerships with investors interested in the opportunities that Gabon offers.
