G7 Foreign Affairs, the Order and Security Committee met in Capri

(ANSA) – NAPLES, APRIL 12 – Chaired by the prefect of Naples, Michele di Bari, a meeting of the Provincial Committee for Public Order and Security took place yesterday in Capri, where the meeting of the G7 at which the Foreign Ministers of Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom, the United States and the High Representative of the European Union will be present. The meeting, which follows those previously held in Naples and Capri, was attended by the mayors of the Municipalities of Capri and Anacapri, the councilor for Legality of the Municipality of Naples, the police commissioner, the provincial commander of the Carabinieri, the provincial commander of financial police, the commanders of the Port Authority of Naples and Capri, the representatives of the Fire Brigade and the Port Authority, the commander of the local police of Capri. During the meeting, the prefecture said, all the details relating to the organization connected to the summit were further focused on and verified, at which the presence of several representatives of other foreign states is expected, in addition to those members of the G7 , and some international organizations. “The management of the complex organizational machine of the event, which represents an important international showcase not only for the blue island but also for our country, recorded the shared commitment of all the institutional interlocutors involved, both on the island and on the mainland”, reads a note from the prefecture. “The police forces have planned every necessary device to guarantee the safety of the participants and citizens”, but “the days involved in the G7 will take place ensuring, in any case, the normal and orderly carrying out of the daily activities of the residents. The Prefect expressed – concludes the note – his thanks to all those who profitably collaborated in the organization of the event”. (HANDLE).
