Future Falcons Shine in Golf Association’s Monthly National Medal Tournament at Yas Links Club, Abu Dhabi

130 male and female players, including 52 players affiliated with the “Future Falcons” program, participated in the March round of the “Monthly National Medal” tournament season, which was organized by the Golf Association at the Yas Links Club in Abu Dhabi.
The men’s competition in the “net” category was won by Omar Thabet with 38 points, 3 points ahead of Joshua Statford, who came second, while David Pendleton won the “crossover” competition with three strokes above average, after he finished the competition course with a total of 75 strokes.
In the “Masters” Challenge for the age group over 50 years, Kevin Barrett won first place with 41 points, and Anton Theron took second place with 39 points. In the women’s category, first place in the “Safi” competition was won by player Pansy Gonsalves, with a total of 35 points. The same player won the title of the longest putt for women, which she achieved on the second hole, while the title of longest putt for the men’s category was won by Darwish Al Qubaisi, who achieved it on the 18th (last) hole. In the junior men’s and women’s competitions, Alyssa Chang won first place with a total of 33 points, ahead of Sebastian Cook, who came in second with a total of 32 points.
