Libreville, September 16, 2023 (AGP) – Died on August 14 in Morocco, the artist-composer Vickoss Ekondo was buried this Saturday, September 16, 2023, at the Messolo private cemetery, in the Sékiani community, where Oliver Ngoma, a another baobab of Gabonese music.
“Dad, you went away and left me with a family that you can rest in peace. THANKS ! “, said Yvon Ekondo, eldest son of the deceased, who spoke on behalf of all the children of the King of Tandima.
The burial took place in the presence of the deceased’s parents, friends and acquaintances, as well as a few artists, such as Arnold Djoud.
Ambassador of culture throughout the world, the illustrious deceased was entitled to a ritual by his spiritual descendants, in strict respect of traditional values.
