The funeral of Sindika Dokolo, the husband of businesswoman Isabel dos Santos, will take place this Tuesday, November 17th, at Westminster Cathedral, in London. The information is advanced by the Angolan businesswoman on her Instagram page.
The funeral ceremonies of Sindika Dokolo will take place in Luanda, Kinshasa and London starting at 8 am (Lisbon time).
The 48-year-old Congolese died in Dubai on 29 October, where he was reported to have suffered an accident at sea. According to several African media, Sindika Dokolo suffered a pulmonary embolism while diving underwater.
Sindika Dokolo has been married to Isabel dos Santos since 2002, with whom she had four children. He was the son of a Congolese banker and came to be considered the greatest collector of contemporary African art. In Portugal, he was a non-executive director of Amorim Energia and other companies where he was a shareholder, together with Isabel dos Santos.
