Fundraising campaign by GUD.berlin: This is how the macabre Sea-Watch parodies influencer marketing

Sea-Watch and GUD.berlin started a multimedia campaign on Monday.

It is one of the great tragedies of our time: according to United Nations calculations, more than 2,000 people from crisis regions of the world die every year trying to flee to Europe in the Mediterranean. The reason: There is no state lifeboat service, as no European country feels responsible for this misery. Together with the creative agency GUD.berlin, Sea-Watch has now launched a fundraising campaign that addresses this issue. And it does so in the form of a macabre parody of influencer marketing that serves its purpose. It calls attention to the dying in the Mediterranean at a time when the world is largely preoccupied with inflation, the war in Ukraine and the energy crisis.
