Fujifilm Introduces X100VI with Upgraded Sensor and Image Stabilization
Fujifilm announced its latest camera, the X100VI, at the X-Summit event in Tokyo, Japan. This new version, pronounced as “X100 six,” retains its compact form factor while introducing significant upgrades such as a 40-megapixel sensor and 5-axis in-body image stabilization (IBIS).
The X100VI maintains its rangefinder-style experience while improving key features, distinguishing itself from a complete overhaul like its predecessor, the X100V.
Enhanced Features
The X100VI features the same upgraded 23mm f/2 mark II lens, equivalent to a 35mm full-frame sensor. The camera retains its 3.69-million dot electronic viewfinder (EVF) with a hybrid optical and electronic viewfinder that can be toggled according to the photographer’s preference.
