Gasoline is approaching 2 euros in Attica, with the concern being intense in view of the movement of Athenians to the province for Easter. The situation in the Middle East seems to be putting the fuel on fire.
“Regardless of the geopolitical risk, this was launched days before. Since mid-February we have had these increases with short breaks. We see that crude oil is locked at 89.61 dollars yesterday, while the day before yesterday it was at 91” the former president of fuel stations, G. Asmatoglou, told OPEN.
“All geopolitical crises will weigh on at some point. Because if the situation becomes general there will be an increase, I don’t know if there will be a shortage” he added.
