In light of the slogan launched by the state in order to preserve the health and safety of the Egyptians, “Stay at home”, as a protection against the outbreak of the Corona virus, and the United Media Services Company accompanied the atmosphere, assuming its national and societal role and decided to be the first entertainment gateway for Egyptians in their homes.
The United Media Services Company, headed by Professor Tamer Morsy, decided to convert the content of Al-Hayat Drama Channel into movies and plays around the clock, starting from 10:00 pm on Saturday, March 21, 2020. Eng. Hussam Saleh, a spokesman for United Media Services Company, stated that this transformation comes in response to Viewers request current time, especially as the viewer stays at home for longer periods of time, in compliance with the state guidelines for a blockade of the new Corona virus.
The channel displays a group of distinctive films and plays that suit the Egyptian family. “Saleh” added that one of the most important goals of this transformation is to celebrate the stars and symbols of the arts industry in Egypt, and revive our ancient Egyptian cinematic and theatrical heritage. The channel will provide documentary films about filmmakers and theater to introduce new generations to it Also, it will present a huge cinematic map.
For drama lovers, the United continues to provide the most beautiful dramas through the channels of DMC Drama, One Drama and CBC Drama. The owner of the United Company hopes that this launch will win the admiration of the Egyptian viewer.
The frequency of the channel “Al-Hayat Drama” is the same as the frequency of “Al-Hayat TV series” previously, on Nilesat: 12437 Vertical 27500.
