From this Thursday at the Hyères clearance sale, three days to do good business

Kick-off this Thursday of the clearance sale in downtown Hyères. “It creates animation. That’s nice”, is already enthusiastic about this customer eager to find the good deal.

Daniel, manager of a women’s ready-to-wear boutique located on avenue Général-de-Gaulle, intends to participate again this year, offering items 30% to 50% cheaper.

Cathy, manager of the ready-to-wear store Interdit de me scolding, at 18 avenue Général-de-Gaulle, will offer the end of the summer and winter collections before the whole at 50%.

First and only day at night this Thursday

As every year, this “End of season weekend” event, initiated by the city, and which marks the end of the summer program, will begin with a night, this Thursday, August 28. Until 10 p.m., it will be possible to stroll through the main arteries of the city center – avenues Général-de-Gaulle, Îles d’Or and Gambetta.

Cathy is one of those traders who will choose to leave their store open in the evening. “I work well at night. As part of the White Nights, organized this summer every Thursday evening, I even made a sale at a quarter to midnight”, she smiles. Tourists and Hyérois still take advantage of these last days of August to have fun.

Forget the atmosphere of the sales. “The customers who come to the clearance sale are in a different dynamic”, recognizes Cathy. Those who will not be able to get there this Thursday will have plenty of time to attend the clearance sale again on Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. To the sedentary traders, some fairgrounds will also come to add and unpack their products in front of the commercial spaces not exploited to date.

No need for a health pass

For those who do not have a health pass, do not panic. Deprived of terraces, they will, on the other hand, be welcome at the clearance sale. They will simply be asked to respect the barrier gestures.

Fall for a piece of clothing while going hunting: it will be possible, this Friday August 27. If the clearance sale occupies a prominent place in the heart of the city, the beautiful pieces offered by second-hand dealers will take pride of place, Place de la République from 8 am to 8 pm.

Nothing like closing this Saturday August 28, market day but also clearance sale, in a musical atmosphere. Postponed due to the health crisis, the musical groups will set the tone for the evening from 7 p.m.
