Their flight was repeatedly delayed. There was a delay due to a late arriving flight, their plane had a technical problem and the pilots were no longer allowed to fly because they had reached their maximum flight hours. Eventually, the family had to spend the night in a hotel. Luckily, they were able to board the plane after just three hours of sleep. After 72 hours they could finally start enjoying their holiday.
