The Meteorological Authority expects that today, Friday, the rise in temperatures will continue, so that moderate weather will prevail in the early morning in all parts, very hot and humid during the day in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, South Sinai and South Upper Egypt, hot and humid on the northern coasts, moderate and humid at night in all parts.

The Meteorological Authority also expects that today will witness limited wind activity in some areas, with the continuation of high levels of humidity, and mist in the morning on some roads leading to and from Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, the northern coasts, the Canal cities, and central Sinai.

As for the temperatures, today, Friday: Cairo, the high is 37 degrees, the tangible is 40 degrees, and the low is 25 degrees, Alexandria is high 32 and low is 24 degrees, Matrouh high is 31 degrees and low is 24 degrees, Sohag high is 43 degrees and low is 27 degrees, Qena high is 43 and low is 28 degrees, Aswan high is 45 and low is 46 and low is 29 degrees.

It is noteworthy that the summer solstice this year, 2023 AD, occurred at (5:59) pm, Cairo Summer Time, on Wednesday, June 21, and the length of the summer season this year is 93 days, 13 hours, and 52 minutes.

The sun rotates in an apparent orbit relative to the stars of the celestial background that appear fixed in the sky, and this orbit is known as the zodiacal circle, and the plane of the zodiacal circle is inclined with the plane of the celestial equator at an angle of 23 degrees and 27 minutes, which is the same angle with which the axis of rotation of the globe is inclined from the vertical. At the level of its orbit, and as a result of the Earth’s rotation around the sun and the inclination of its axis on the plane of its orbit at this angle, the four seasons occur.
