Delko – formerly Delko Marseille – was mainly active in the French circuit. During Paris-Roubaix, the team rode with the iconic La Vie Claire outfit to celebrate the birthday of a co-sponsor.
The French team hosted Tour of Turkey winner José Manuel Diaz, Romanian sprinter Eduard-Michael Grosu, Justin Jules and Evaldas Siskevicius, among others.
Siskevicius gathered name and fame in Paris-Roubaix. 3 years ago, the Lithuanian killed himself by jumping on a tow truck on which a Delko team car was standing. Abandoned by the broom wagon, Siskevicius rode as far as the Velodrome, but there he came to a halt before a closed gate.
A year later, Siskevicius held up well among the great tenors in Paris-Roubaix, resulting in 9th place. Also 8 days ago, the 32-year-old Lithuanian drove himself into the spotlight in Hell by slipping into the early flight.
