Local transport in the region has been a joke lately. For wheelchair users like Monja Boge, the ride on the Breisgau S-Bahn to Freiburg is like an odyssey.
A trip from Breisach to Freiburg and back by public transport has been an exhausting game of patience for every commuter in recent months. For people in wheelchairs, however, there were and still are hurdles. Until recently, Monja Boge drove to her workplace in the Haid industrial park every day, and Freiburg’s main train station was a particular challenge for her.
