The embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the country has launched a campaign against the company Shen Yun Performing Arts, which plans to perform soon in Santo Domingo and Santiago.
The idea of the freedom of expressionpress and cult that the Beijing regime has is “quite” different from the one we use in this part of the world, so it is not the first time that the active Chinese ambassador writes to the newspapers demanding silence, prior and subsequent censorship, and compliance with their requests/orders.
On its website, it explains that Shen Yun belongs to Falun Gong, “an anti-human, anti-scientific, and anti-social heretical sect” outlawed by the government of the glorious Communist Party of China in 1999.
The most surprising thing about this note, and about the calls and letters that the embassy has sent to the Dominican media, is that it invites citizens not to attend the show so that, among all of us, “we take care of the favorable environment for the development of bilateral relations”.
