The “Victor Babeș” Infectious Diseases and Pneumophthisiology Hospital in Timișoara, in partnership with the Timiș Public Health Directorate, offers free testing to detect HIV infection. In the hospital, at the same time, there is also a psychosocial counseling office, for people who have contracted HIV or who have already developed Acquired Human Immunodeficiency Syndrome.
