The suspect in the pornographic film case, Fransiska Candra Novitasariini or Siskaeeee, again submitted a pretrial application for suspect status to the South Jakarta District Court (PN Jaksel). The pretrial application was registered today.
“Can correct “as of today, we are submitting his preliminary application to the South Jakarta District Court,” said Siskaeee’s attorney, Tofan Agung Ginting, to reporters, Thursday (1/2/2024).
Tofan said the defendant in the pretrial was Metro Jaya Police Chief Inspector General Karyoto cq Dirkrimsus Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Ade Safri Simanjuntak. According to him, there was a change in the petition petitum with the previous pretrial which had been withdrawn.
“Yes, the respondent is the Regional Police Chief cq Dirreskrimsus Polda Metro Jaya. Posita and of course there are changes in the petitum too,” he said.
Tofan said that the pretrial was submitted again because Siskaeee was detained after the first pretrial application had been withdrawn. He said that this second pretrial contained a lawsuit regarding Siskaeee’s arrest and detention.
“Because after we brought Prapid in, Siska was forcibly picked up and detained,” said Tofan.
“We only add regarding the process of arrest and detention. After the arrest and detention,” he continued.
Previously, celebgram Siskaeee would withdraw her pretrial lawsuit at the South Jakarta District Court (PN). But Siskaeee will also file another pretrial lawsuit against Polda Metro Jaya for his arrest and detention.
Responding to this, the Director of Criminal Investigation at Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Ade Safri Simanjuntak, invited Siskaeee to withdraw and sue again.
“That is the constitutional right of the person concerned, if they want to file a pretrial lawsuit, they want to withdraw it (too),” said Ade Safri to journalists at Polda Metro Jaya, Tuesday (30/1).
However, Ade Safri ensured that investigators worked professionally. He also emphasized that investigators did not receive intervention from anywhere.
“But in principle, we guarantee that investigators carry out investigations in a professional, transparent and accountable manner, and are free from intimidation or anything else that interferes with the investigation process,” he explained.
Ade Safri admitted that his party respects the legal efforts taken by Siskaeee and his attorney as long as they are constitutional.
“So whatever it is related to the pre-trial lawsuit filed by the suspect or his legal representative, we are ready to face it through the Legal Division of Polda Metro Jaya, and yesterday there was information about the revocation which we appreciated, that is the constitutional right of the suspect and his legal representative,” he explained.
