It feels like we rewrote HBO’s The Last of Usseries for years now, but we still haven’t even gotten a teaser trailer to devour. Instead, we have relied on leaked photos from the recording and sianden vacancy that the series will likely premiere early next year. Well, today at least we got some new official information about who we’ll be seeing in the various roles of the apocalypse.
Via IGN we now know who will play the brothers Henry and Sam, namely Lamar Johnson and Keivonn Woodard. One difference compared to the game, however, is that the brothers will not be in the same place as in the game, without spoiling too much.
Furthermore, we have learned that Graham Greene will play Marlon and Elaine Miles will play Florence. If the names don’t sound familiar, that’s because they aren’t – the characters aren’t in the game. It is about a real couple who survive on their own in the wilderness.
So we don’t have a premiere date for the series, but it is said that it is sometime in early 2023.
