It was in September last year that police found 35-year-old Terri Harris and her two children, John Bennett (13) and Lacey Bennett (11), and family friend Conni Gent (11) killed in a house in England. Police had received reports related to a man in the area, and when they arrived they spotted the gruesome sight.
Police began an investigation, and the 32-year-old man was quickly arrested in connection with the incident.
Harris’ husband and father of the children, Jason Bennett, were on their way home when he received the tragic news.
Now, four months later, the suspected perpetrator is charged with being behind all the killings, as well as for raping one of the children, according to the BBC.

According to the BBC, the trial will start in March. The perpetrator has not commented on criminal guilt.
Killamarsh police have previously stated that the four died as a result of a “violent attack”.
Jason Bennett tells Sky News that the killings have “broken my heart into a million pieces.”
– I did not protect my beautiful children enough from the monsters, and now they are suddenly taken away from me, he says.
The father of the family says that he is in deep grief and encourages all parents to take good care of their children.
– Take care of your children. They are the love of your life and without them it is empty. Your life is insignificant when you lose those you love.
