Four Charged with Trafficking 14-Year-Old into Prostitution in Manhattan, NYC

Four people have been charged with trafficking a 14-year-old girl into prostitution, the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office (NYC) announced.

Three of the suspects are Hispanic – Brianna Moreno (20), Wilson Mariano Ventura (23) and Alejandrina Ventura (24) -, and the fourth was identified as Nickolous Charles (21). The four were charged with conspiring to traffic the victim and promote prostitution between November 2023 and February 2024, it was reported. The Fox News.

“As has been said, these people were targeted a 14-year-old girl who often ran away from home, abusing and taking advantage of her,” said District Attorney Alvin Bragg it is a statement. “The age of the victim is very common in human trafficking cases and illustrates why my office is fighting to eliminate the statute of limitations for sex trafficking.”
