Found his issue on «IS-blad»

When Henriette Syvertsen (36) yesterday picked up one of the many leaflets that she found strewn around the bus stop that she gets off at Flisa in Åsnes, she first started laughing. She thought someone must have made the flyers nonsense.

But when she had read through all the paper she held up in front of her, there was no longer much laughter to be traced.

Do you want to join IS? Do you dream of a Scandinavian Caliphate? Contact Amin », it said, followed by a phone number.

– Amin, or Amine, as he is called, is my husband, and the phone number that was listed on the sheet is mine, Henriette tells Dagbladet.

– Shock

– This was a purely personal attack, and I can not understand who is able to invent to do something like that, she continues.

Under the name of Amin and the number of Henriette it continued:

“We help you with financing, transport and equipment. Support your local IS department ».

– I was completely in shock after reading it, and I do not think I was completely able to take it in until many hours afterwards, says the 36-year-old.

Not okay

She was with her husband, Amine, when she found the leaflets. Amine is from Morocco, where he lives and works daily. The couple has been together for three and a half years, and this was the first time Amine visited Henriette at Flisa.

– Amine was just put out, but luckily he takes it well. We are two strong people, and do not let ourselves be broken – but racism is not acceptable anyway, says Henriette.

There are about 1160 inhabitants on Flisa. The couple has no idea who is behind the flyers. They have reported the case, and the police have launched an investigation, writes NRK, who first mentioned the case.

– This is a case that is given high priority by the police. We are therefore launching an investigation. It is a serious case, says police lawyer in the Inland police district, Nilam Ilyas, who is responsible for prosecution in the case, to the channel.

Massive support

Henrette admits that she slept a little badly last night, but tells Dagbladet that she does not allow herself to be intimidated.

– First and foremost, I just get terribly pissed, she says.

– I also feel sorry for Amine’s name – that this is the welcome he gets here at Flisa, she adds.

She also has a clear message for the person or people who printed the magazines.

– These are people who completely lack insight and understanding, and I have nothing left for them. Therefore, it is important for us to say that we do not find ourselves in this type of racism at all.

And the couple is not alone.

Since the case became known, Henriette has received supportive messages from people in the local community – and from the rest of the country as well.

– It is good to get so much support and see that the vast majority fortunately share our views in this matter, she says.
