[FOTOS] Salamanca demands justice for Nadia and for all the murdered women and victims of violence – El Sol de Salamanca

Accompanied by drums, saucepans and rattles and shouting for justice for Nadia and an end to the violence, more than 300 women from Salamanca marched through the main streets of the city to commemorate International Women’s Day, in which those women who have fought throughout history for their rights.

At five o’clock in the afternoon, a contingent led by the mothers of women victims of violence left the Section 24 stadium to make their way down Zaragoza Street to the Plazoleta Miguel Hidalgo.

Women of all ages and dressed in purple and green garments made noise to ask for justice for those women who were silenced and for those who live in situations of discrimination and violence.

Already in the Civic Plaza, the mother of Nadia Verónica Rodríguez Saro, who was murdered on March 8, 2020, thanked the attendees and asked for justice for her daughter and criticized that two years after what happened there had been no progress in the investigation.

Likewise, relatives of Michell, a young woman who was raised and found lifeless on March 7, also demanded justice for all the women who have been murdered or who are missing.

Finally, with a clothesline for complaints and singing the song “live without fear,” the commemorative march for International Women’s Day concluded.
