Fortnight maintained for flights between Guadeloupe and Martinique –

By mutual agreement, the prefects of Guadeloupe and Martinique, “are preparing a gradual lifting of the fortnight between the sister islands“. Until further notice, only the Air-France company provides the shuttle, only for family or business trips.

We will still have to wait for a return to normal for inter-island traffic with all the companies. For now, the prefects of Guadeloupe and Martinique, “are preparing a gradual lifting of the fortnight between the sister islands“.

The effective date will be announced shortly (…). Only travel for family or business reasons will be affected (…).
Until then, the current provisions (collective fortnight) are unchanged.

(Joint press release from the prefectures of Guadeloupe and Martinique)

As for other trips (tourism, pleasure, family visit …) they remain “strictly prohibited” until further notice.

Air-France, sole operator for the moment

Until this “gradual lifting of the fortnight“, it’s only Air-France that currently operates rotations between Pointe-à-Pître and Fort-de-France.

For the moment, there is no resumption of flights, since the fortnight is not up as we speak. So our flight schedule hasn’t changed for the next week.
