You have had your first three weeks in Turin. How were they?
Now everything had stabilized, but the first week was really hectic. I arrived in a suit, I had no other clothes. No football boots, nothing. So I had to buy them so I could train at all.
Did the club help you?
Representatives of the club went with me around the city, we were looking for basic things. It was quite funny. I needed a lot, from football boots to a phone charger. I don’t like to remember those three days, they were really demanding.
The big hectic was actually your whole transfer.
It fits. It all started with a return from the league match in Karviná at three in the morning, then I went to a meeting of the national team. This was followed by a flight to Italy, a night medical examination. I practically didn’t sleep for two days, I went to the first one for training. The search for things mentioned. I wasn’t bored. Originally, the intention was that after a medical examination and signing a contract, I would return home for things. And I will join Turin after three days. However, the coach wanted me to stay. I just had to bite it.

You soon had your premiere, you played a winning league duel against Salernitan. However, you sat on the bench for the next two matches. Why?
I don’t see anything special about it. Coach Jurič praised me. He added that I still need time to acclimatize, to get used to the tactical elements that are strong in Italian football. Specifically, it is the position of players in individual game situations. It’s about details. Anyway, I’m doing my best in training, I have to be ready when I get a chance again.

Of course. But for me, it was more important to win than to succeed in the premiere. We won the next match, now on Friday we were close to the third, Lazio equalized in the end.

Does FC Turin practice a different style of football than Slavia?
It’s quite similar. Pressure game, presink. In the back, we only play three defenders in Turin. There is an overall higher quality in terms of opponents and our team. The Italian league is generally balanced, everyone can beat everyone. Virtually all matches are at the level of at least the European League.
Where in the table does FC Turin want to move?
Maybe the club management announced a goal before the season, but I haven’t been to Turin yet. In addition, I don’t speak Italian well yet, but I’m learning honestly. But I definitely have personal goals. Get used to Italian football, work your way into the basic line-up and stay in it. Gain as much experience as possible and above all, constantly improve.

What impression do you make on the team led by the new European champion, the Italian forward Andrea Belotti?
I have to say that I’m really excited about how the boys accepted me. They are all great, they treat me nicely.
You played European cups with Slavia, did they know you?
When Slavia played against Inter Milan in the Champions League, I was still in Olomouc. Then I played the European League with her, but the boys were hardly interested in Slavia’s matches. So they know Slavia, but they don’t know me. (Laughs)
