As part of its foray into the burgeoning non-fungible token (NFT) gaming industry, NFT gaming ecosystem provider 8Hours Foundation, named Michael Katz as a member of his advisory council.
Katz has a 25-year long history in the video game entertainment industry, including senior positions at major game companies. He was president of the video game division of Atari, president of SEGA in the US, and chief marketing officer of Mattel.
The 8Hours Foundation hopes to strengthen the adoption of its new products launched under the brand VIMWorld with the addition of Katz to its board.
VIMWorld is a non-fungible token ecosystem that provides an authentication system that enables owners to store and generate value through different connections between gaming entrepreneurs.
The 8Hours Foundation’s advisory board includes former executives from major game franchises such as Call of Duty, Guitar Hero, and Tetris.
A representative from the foundation commented on the addition of Katz to its advisory team:
