Former Special Prosecutor of the Republic of Northern Macedonia Katica Yaneva was taken to Idrizovo Prison today, where she is due to start serving her seven-year prison sentence in the Racketeering case, which was upheld by the Court of Appeals.
Before her, Boyan Jovanovski was also taken to prison.
The judgment of the Court of Appeal upheld the decision of the first instance court. It is indisputable that in the famous Louis Vuitton bag, taken from the home of Orce Kamchev by Zoran Milevski, there was a large sum of euros, and that Yaneva insisted on improving the situation of Orce Kamchev in connection with the “Empire” case and in return received as a gift 50,000 euros and furniture set, which are confiscated.
