Former Miss Belgium Noémie Happart opens sports club for women: “A place where they feel safe”

BVFormer Miss Belgium 2013, Noémie Happart (29), opens ‘Re.belle’. This is a sports club that is only aimed at women. According to ‘7sur7’ it is a place that combines sport, nutrition and well-being. And which is said to be already the favorite hotspot of Liège women.

The love for sport and well-being is strong at Noémie Happart. And because of that passion, the ex-miss has decided to combine her two greatest interests. The result: a sports center that is exclusively aimed at women.

The idea came to Noémie a long time ago, who also shares her life with Red Devil Yannick Carrasco. “My husband and I went to live in China for three years,” says Noémie. “I then took the time to imagine a concept that appeals to me 100% and in which I can invest myself. That’s how ‘Re.belle’ was born”, says the ex-miss.

Notes in her locker

A place dedicated to women and managed by women whose opening date is not chosen at random. The sports club will open its doors in Awans, Liège on March 8, 2023 – International Women’s Rights Day. “People often ask me if this is a feminist project. It’s a bit like that, yes. The idea is to have a hangout, a hangout for girls. A place where they feel safe and can avoid inappropriate looks or assessments,” says Noémie Happart to ‘7sur7’. Noémie also testifies herself that she faced unpleasant situations in the past when she started the gym. “I got cans, but also notes in my locker. I didn’t come for that. I just wanted to take care of myself,” said the ex-miss.

In addition to the customers, the teachers and staff in general will also consist exclusively of women. A unique project that also makes Noémie dream of expansion. But everything in its time. Because the ex-miss had to make a lot of sacrifices for this project. “I spent two months in Belgium without Yannick, who suddenly couldn’t see his son anymore. We miss our family life, but the project is worth it,” she concludes.
