Former head of Conexus appointed to Olainfarm board

Zane Kotāne has previously held several leading positions – both on the board and in the council of such companies as JSC “Conexus Baltic Grid“, AS “Latvian gas“, AS “Latvenergo“, OU” Elektrum Eesti “, UAB” Elektrum Lietuva “. Until 2017, he was a member of the Board of JSC “Latvijas gāze”.

It has already been reported that the single natural gas transmission and storage system operator “Conexus Baltic Grid“Kotāne resigned as chairman of the board on June 26 this year, indicating that she will accept new professional challenges.

In her professional career, Kotāne has been a sworn auditor, certified internal auditor, risk management specialist, process change, as well as financial manager, issuing corporate bonds in Latvia and implementing internationally accepted accounting principles. Currently, Kotāne holds positions in VSIA “Children’s Clinical University Hospital” and “SEB Pension Fund “as a member of the Council.

Kotāne holds a master’s degree in business administration from the Riga Business School and a bachelor’s degree in economics and business science from the Riga School of Economics. Kotāne has a certificate of the head of the council of the Baltic Institute of Corporate Governance. In addition, she has an ACCA qualification from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and an International Internal Auditor’s Certificate (CIA), as well as a Latvian sworn auditor’s license.

Zane Kotāne, a member of the Board of Olainfarm, says that the company contributes to the Latvian economy and adds value to every employee of the company. “Good governance is important to me. Finance is a vital support for transparency, sustainability and growth.”

Kotane does not own any shares in Olainfarm, as well as shares in other companies.

Jerūns Veitess, Elena Bušberga, Raimonds Terentjevs, Signe Baldere-Sildedze, Milana Beļeviča and Mārtiņš Pūriņš continue to work in the Board of JSC Olainfarm.
