Former footballer of Jagiellonian, Widzew and Borussia ended his career at the age of 22.

Mateusz Ostaszewski is only 22 years old, but he will not play football again. At least on a professional level. According to the portal zambrowiacy.pl, the player made such a decision due to injuries that were constantly tiring him. Ostaszewski was a great talent. A student of Jagiellonia Białystok as a junior he also played in Borussia Dortmund, where he appeared 18 times.

In senior football, he represented the colors of Jagiellonia and the Development of Katowice and Widzew Łódź. He spent only 38 minutes on the pitch in the club in Łódź, but he scored two goals anyway. A year ago he went to Olimpia Zambrów, where he played 67 games, scored seven goals (five in the third league, two in the Polish Cup).

Ostaszewski was also the youth representative of Poland. He played for the U-16, U-17 and U-18 squad.
