Kléber Gladiador, a former striker for Cruzeiro, scored big on Thursday night. The former player bet on the victory of Libertad, from Paraguay, against Atlético, in a game valid for the opening round of Group G of the Copa Libertadores. The visiting team won by 1-0, in Mineirão, and leads the key in the continental competition.
On social networks, Kléber disclosed the bet made on social networks. The former striker invested R$ 10,000 in the victory of the Paraguayans, with a quotation of 5.50. He received back R$ 55 thousand.
“Drag up for more tips”, joked the former player.
Galo is the bottom of Group G of the Copa Libertadores. The team is the only one that didn’t score a point, since Alianza Lima and Athletico-PR drew in their debut, in a match held in Peru.
Atlético returns to the field for Libertadores on April 18, at 21:00. Galo visits Athletico-PR at Arena da Baixada, for the 2nd round of Group G.
Before, however, Alvinegro’s focus returns to the Campeonato Mineiro. Next Sunday, at 4:30 pm, Atlético will play the second leg of the decision against América. In the first match, Atletica won by 3 to 2. The Rooster may even lose by a goal difference that will win the fourth state championship.
