“If Trump gets another term, I think a lot of alliances will be lost and America will be alone,” he said.

“Truth is very important, but especially in intelligence,” said Hayden.

“President Trump doesn’t care about facts. President Trump doesn’t care about the truth. He doesn’t listen to the experts,” he criticized.

He continued, “The FBI says white nationalism is a real problem and the FBI wants to do something about it, but the president doesn’t want to talk about it. He’s not keeping the country safe.”

Last week, Trump received widespread criticism from both sides after he failed to explicitly condemn white supremacist during the first presidential debate.

Hayden then backed Democrat Joe Biden in the upcoming election, which he stressed he was voting for the country’s future rather than a specific candidate.

“Biden is a good man. Donald Trump is not,” he said.
