Former chief prosecutor Ivan Geshev registered his civil movement “Justice for Bulgaria”.
“Dear Bulgarian citizens,
I am happy to announce that the civil movement “Justice for Bulgaria” is now registered.
I am determined to live up to the expectations of all those who support me.
I will work for a dignified life for every Bulgarian citizen. I am convinced that together we will fight against injustice.”
However, according to BIRD.BG: “Geshev’s political project got off to a false start. In the registration documents of the “Justice for Bulgaria” association, they confused political with economic activity, and the registration judges sent them back to correctional. And the mistake may be true, but yes became apparent at a later stage.”
