Former badminton athlete Ricky Subagja is known to have married a woman who is 26 years younger than him, namely Cica Andjani. They got married after a small meeting.
On the Brownis Trans TV show, Cica Andjani told about the meeting. At that time, he was invited by his friend to Ricky Subagja’s house.
“At that time I was with my best friend, he invited me. We wanted to be in a cafe but instead we were at home,” said Cica.
“So there is a friend of mine, his friend is like that too, only I have never met him. My friend is getting together at home, invite him. I don’t know what his condition is, he doesn’t expect to come to the house. His friend is our friend,” said Ricky.
Cica Andjani admitted that at that time she did not know that Ricky Subagja was a famous former Indonesian badminton athlete. Even when she was about to meet Ricky, the 27-year-old woman called her mother.
“Yeah, I don’t know (athletes), because I’m not a badminton lover. He knows his juniors. My mother knows it,” he said.
“When it arrived it was like housing, I kept calling mom (asking), ‘Whose house is this?’ ‘Ricky Subagja’,” he continued.
After that, a week later Ricky Subagja asked for Cica Andjani’s phone number. From that small meeting, he felt like he fell in love with Cica.
“For more than a week, I didn’t immediately (ask for a cellphone number). After that, I just went home. I used to hang out with my friend, so I asked where it was,” he said.
Until finally in 2021, Ricky Subagja married Cica Andjani. After that, they often reminisce about the moment of the brief meeting.
“I’m not clumsy, I’m just talking about being funny like that. I used to call him yes (om), hello uncle. Because I have an uncle like him, so I’m just lazy. Older siblings. (Call now) baby,” he concluded.
