Argentine judicial sources said that the former striker of Paris Saint-Germain and Napoli of Italy, Ezekiel Lavizzi, filed a blackmail complaint against the background of sexual videos.
The 35-year-old former international, who retired in December, claimed that he had received letters threatening to post intimate photos of him on the Internet if he did not pay $ 5,000 for each photo.
Lavizzi’s lawyers, who also played for China’s Hebei Fortune, Estudiantes and San Lorenzo Argentines, filed a complaint with the IT crime authorities.
In light of the closure imposed by Argentina as a result of the outbreak of the recent Corona virus, Lavizzi is currently on the Caribbean island of St. Barthelemy with his girlfriend, Brazilian model and actress Natalia Burgess, who has also received threats on her accounts on social media, according to sources.
The Argentine press has described the case as “sexual blackmail”, while Lavizzi’s lawyers have acknowledged that the content of the videos may be real.
